Coryn Richey is passionate about the arts and providing art education for all children. She has been dancing since the age of 3, training in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, theatre, and swing. In 2003, she moved to the Rio Rancho/Albuquerque area, and received most of her dance training at Elite Dance and Theatre, where she performed multiple roles in shows such as "Peter Pan", "A Christmas Carol", and "The Jungle Book". She has choreographed for Elite as well as for the musical theatre and youth-oriented Heartstrings Theatre and Encore! Theatre. She received her BFA in Studio Art at UNM in 2017, with a focus in photography.  Since 2012, Coryn has been teaching children dance and piano, while simultaneously working part time as a portrait and wedding photographer. Coryn has been involved with NDI New Mexico since 2019 and is excited to travel and bring NDI New Mexico's wonderful program to children across the entire state of New Mexico!
