Jennifer has an MFA in Creative Writing, and MA in English from University of New Mexico, and more than 20 years of experience as a professional freelance writer, grant writer and editor. In addition to being a grant writer, she’s worked in higher education, teaching college English and writing for several universities, including South University, University of New Mexico, and Santa Fe University of Art and Design. Jennifer’s true passion is creative writing and performing poetry; her published works include a translation of ancient Turkish Sufi poetry (Quarreling with God: Mystic Rebel Poems of the Dervishes of Turkey”), a book of her own poetry and illustrations (“Divine Nostalgia”), and an essay in the book Journeys and Awakening: Wisdom for Spiritual Travelers, published in April 2019 by Monkfish Publishing. She has lived in Santa Fe since 1996 and lives with her husband and two daughters.
