Julie Anne Shapiro is a New York native who grew up immersed in the performing arts with a dedication to dance, acting and vocalization. Since receiving a BFA in Musical Theatre from SUNY Fredonia in 2019, Julie has been traveling and connecting with creative work across the country from Off-Broadway to regional theatre companies. Locally, she has worked with Tri-M Productions, Theatre Grottesco, Teatro Paraguas and Santa Fe Classic Theatre. As a teaching artist, Julie has also worked with youth in a variety of capacities including choreographing for summer camps, leading Tomorrow Women's Peace Ambassador program and working in different schooling environments.
