Kerry Moriarty moved to Santa Fe in 2006 and graduated from Southwestern College with a master’s degree in Art Therapy. From 2009 to 2016 she worked in multiple correctional facilities as an art therapist, providing opportunities for growth and healing to incarcerated individuals suffering from mental illness. From 2016 to 2023 she worked in project and grant management for the State of New Mexico. Kerry worked as the legislative lead for the Behavioral Health Services Division during the 55^th and 56^th sessions of the New Mexico State Legislature. She is a strong supporter of the arts as a vehicle for wellness and child development, and joined the NDI New Mexico Advancement Team with great enthusiasm in 2023.  

She is a mom to 2, stepmom to 2 more, and step grandma to 1. Kerry and her husband live with their family in Santa Fe County and raise chickens and goats.
