Tracy Ritter-Golson

Albuquerque Outreach Teaching Artist

Tracy trained at La Mesa Dance Academy with Cecelia Jaramillo before studying under New Mexico Ballet Company’s (NMBC) founder, Suzanne Johnston.  She has been a member of NMBC since 2002, performing Lead Mirliton and Dew Drop in The Nutcracker, Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland, Glinda in Wizard of Oz, The Diva in The Phantom of the Opera Ballet, and in George Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco. Tracy was also a corps dancer in West Side Story and Thoroughly Modern Millie and recently appeared as a dancer in the film A Million Ways to Die in the West. Tracy has a passion for teaching and has taught dancers aged three through pre-professional age at Dance Theatre Southwest, Kids Love to Dance, La Mesa Dance Academy, and NMBC. She joined NDI New Mexico in 2010.
