Mark Steinberg is a New York City native who enjoyed a 40 year career in the investment management industry, retiring with the goal to “make every day Saturday.”
Mark was Managing Director at BlackRock, the world’s largest Asset Manager where he served on the Board for all U.S. operating subs and oversaw the $150 billion cash management and money market fund business. On the international front, Mark was previously Chief Operating Officer and Board member at AIG/Alico, AIG’s global life
insurance business with over 24,000 employees in more than 60 countries.
While living on the east coast, Mark got involved with The Seeing Eye, the oldest and largest guide dog school in the world and proudly served on the Board for 12 years before being term limited out.
His educational background includes The Executive Program at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business and a BBA from the Baruch School of Business in New York.
Before the business world, Mark spent four years as the personal aide to Mayor John Lindsay of New York, which he describes as his “master’s degree in life.”
