Devin Parker is an award-winning choreographer and educator who recently relocated to Santa Fe from the San Francisco Bay Area. Her dance training is rooted in a strong ballet foundation with a wide range of other dance styles. She trained with a variety of dance companies like the San Francisco Ballet, CCB, Kirov Academy, Alvin Ailey 2, Scott Wells, and Oberlin Dance Collective. Having had travel opportunities; experiencing dance around the world has influenced her artistic style, shaping her choreography and teaching philosophy. Devin loves working with young performers of all ages and experience levels and has taught at several schools throughout the Bay Area. She has also directed and choreographed at companies such as Opera Paralléle, African American Shakespeare Company, 6th Street, and San Jose Stage Company. Devin’s teaching philosophy is rooted in the goal of creating a lifelong love of dance in her students through creativity, technique, and infectious energy.
