Feli Blea started their dance career at the age of 8 as part of New Child Players Production Company. Soon afterwards, they joined NDI New Mexico through the In-School program at Navajo Elementary. They continued at NDI New Mexico as part of the Super Wonderful Advanced Team (SWAT), Celebration Team and Company XCel for 9 years. While at NDI New Mexico they studied many forms of dance including ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, and tap. Feli also attended a performing arts school, Tierra Adentro, and performed and trained in traditional flamenco, salsa, folklorico, Spanish regional folk dance, and bulera. In addition, Feli is also part of the professional tap company, AlleyKats. Feli furthers their dance skills by continuing to take advanced tap, jazz, and hip hop courses. NDI New Mexico has been a major joy in Feli’s life, and they look forward to helping others find their passion for dance.
