Kari Onofre (she/they) is an afro-latina student and creative. Originally from Oakland, California, Kari moved to New Mexico to pursue an education in creative writing and dance at UNM. She danced competitively for over 10 years and was a part of her high school’s drill team. Additionally, she’s a private dance teacher who choreographs solos and duets for local competitions.
