Shane, a native New Mexican, has been dancing for 22 years and teaching for 15 years. Originally a hip-hop dancer, he has expanded his dance disciplines to include ballet, jazz, house, contemporary and Latin. Shane organizes one of the South West’s premier all ages Hip-Hop event, “Breakin Hearts,” celebrating 18 years strong. Shane has had the honor of performing with Festival Ballet Albuquerque, Musical Theatre Southwest, East Village Dance Project (NYC), and Dancing Earth (Indigenous Contemporary Dance Company). Traveling, connecting with others, and performing around the globe has played a vital role in his growth as an instructor, artist, and mentor.  Shane joined NDI New Mexico in 2011.
