The Hiland Theater Registration
Welcome to NDI New Mexico at The Hiland Theater! We have school year classes and summer classes for ages three to adult in our Young Children’s Division, Junior/Senior Division, Pre-Professional Division and Adult Division.
NDI New Mexico provides affordable rigorous performing arts programming that builds technical skills and personal character and is accessible to all children. We provide a well-rounded experience in the Performing Arts and welcome children of all abilities. NDI New Mexico provides programming that contributes to children’s success in life through healthy attitudes, rigor, discipline and creativity. Students’ experience is consistent with NDI New Mexico’s methodology of joyous learning while the teaching re-enforces the NDI New Mexico Core Four: work hard, do your best, never give up and be healthy. Sliding scale tuition is available to ensure that all children can participate in classes.

Spring Break Arts Camps!
Dance/Arts Camp – $50
Classes: March 17-21, 2025
NDI New Mexico at the Hiland Theater is offering a one-of-a-kind spring break camp! Join us for a morning of dance classes, followed by an afternoon of circus-arts training with Wise Fool. All for $50 total! That’s it. For 40 hours of incredible training!
Ages: 8-12 and 13-17

Early Steps Spring Break Camp – $25
Classes: March 18-20, 2025
Our youngest dancers are invited for a three-day camp where they can explore, learn and grow. Every day will include movement class, snack, and craft activities.

The Hiland Theater Summer Dance Classes 2025
Early Steps (Ages 3-7)
Early Steps programming at the Hiland is designed to provide a safe space for children to be introduced to dance, music, and movement through play, while improving locomotor, developmental, and social skills. Play, as an integral part of creativity, inspires children at this age to share, compare, and dare! Each themed week-long camp includes a movement class, a snack, and a craft!

Summer Refund Policy: Early Steps
- No registration fee
- Full tuition due upon registration
- Cancellation 10 days or more before program begins: Full refund
- Cancellation less than 10 days before the program to the day before the program begins: 50% refund
- First day of class and beyond: No refunds
Arts In Motion Discovery (Ages 8-15)
Youth will “discover” their own artistic interests and voice through an introduction to a wide variety of art forms. These weeklong camps, which can be half-day or full day, are designed to spark creativity and curiosity through student-centered, nourishing instruction and exploration. Second Session: July 7-11: Musical Theatre, Dance & Cooking

Students will rotate through a variety of dance classes and cooking classes and workshops
Third Session: July 14-18: Hip-Hop & Filmmaking with Vault Studios
Morning Hip-Hop Camp: 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Afternoon Filmmaking with Vault Studios: 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Arts In Motion Continuum (Ages 11-17)
The Continuum programming at The Hiland Theater is designed with the more focused dance student in mind. Students will explore and experience a diverse range of movement forms with rigor and depth, in an environment that fosters independent thinking, cultivation of voice through creative process, collaboration and accountability. This program offers resources and a view into the professional dance world for serious dance students at an Intermediate/Pre-Professional level.
